NURTURING BRIGHT MINDS WITH BIG HEARTS

Often times, modern day society and beliefs deprive us of a balance between giving and receiving. At Stamford Education, we see it fit to impart the right principles into our students form a young age.

In an effort to inculcate the values of care and respect in our students, we involve all our little ambassadors in our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. Our students learn through engaging in activities that focuses on the act of giving, and why it is more important that the desire to receive. Activities ranging from the crafting of ornaments for the needy, to packing their own favourite clothing to providing warmth to another lends credibility to our efforts in nurturing tomorrow’s bright minds with big hearts.

COMPASSION
Giving Love

Just as it is important to impart knowledge to a child during the Golden Age (18 months to 6 years old), it is just as ideal to inculcate kindness and good moral values too. From simple actions such as giving, we are all able to bridge a global and cultural divide. From a caring heart, we are all able to experience a better world.

At the end of the day, we would like to teach both adults and children alike that it is a small world after all, so let’s contribute our best to it.

FORGING GLOBAL CITIZENS OF EVERY CHILD

If you asked your child where they lived, chances are they would go along the lines of stating their home address. While your child’s response is correct, it begs the question, is your child thinking locally or globally?

At Stamford Education, we seek to create a broader sense of awareness within our students, so that they identify themselves as citizens of a big wide world instead of someone who simply lives in a certain housing block or estate within Singapore. As such, we create opportunities in the classroom to introduce our students to the different cultures and traditions around the world: on the mission of broadening their understanding of just how large and diverse the world is, we even expose children to the various flags of 250 countries in the world – forging a global mind-set and a respect for different individuals within every child.

ENGINEERING FUN AND LEARNING THROUGH ACTIVE PLAY

Remember how back in the day where you had that one favourite playground you would go back to? But after a while, you started searching for a new playground because the favourite was beginning to bore you. At Stamford Education, we let our students decide what their favourite playground will be for the day by having them build their very own out of colourful gym equipment.

How? With the simple desire to ignite passion for learning within our students, we took the concept of the old-fashioned playground and incorporated purpose into it, thereby bringing about its progression into learning – active play through Stamford’s Brain Gym.

The first of its kind in Singapore for pre-schoolers, the Stamford Brain Gym stimulates creativity within every child as they are free to create their very own playground out of various gym equipment. With this sense of liberation and the chance to think out of the box, students find themselves able to engineer obstacle courses out of shapes and balancing beams! These courses are then solved through team spirit as students bond together and problem-solve for solutions. By encouraging them to construct their own fun, we seek to stimulate children’s ability to strategize and implement creative solutions to solve problems.

Being a Responsible Parent Is Challenging

To ensure that your child learns the best, you first have to learn what is best for your child. This process is a cycle and requires the whole family to actively play a role.

At Stamford, we realize the importance of educating not only the child but also the whole family. Hence, we have devised a series of parent learning programmes at ZERO cost.

Let us help you to help your child.
